For three generations, Sackman Enterprises has developed historic brownstones in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. However, after visiting Austin’s world-renowned SXSW festival, Carter Sackman Jr., talked his grandfather into expanding the family’s interests south.

The company’s first Austin project, SEVENTY RAINEY, is a luxury, high-rise condominium in the city’s hip downtown Rainey Street District. The neighborhood, known for its eccentric character, festoon-covered patios and bungalow bars, has never seen a project like this before.

The symbol, a combination of the street name and number, creates a logomark unique to this project and perfectly blends the building’s luxury with the neighborhood’s quirkiness.
